For all the wannabe rock-stars and virtual farmers it may come as delight as it was recently pronounced that Guitar Hero and Farmville will soon feature in the all new iPhone 4 platform.

It was the Apple's World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) that confirmed the release of the Guitar Hero application and presently the app has been made available for download from the app store.

It features all the classic and contemporary rock songs from bands like the Rolling Stones and Vampire Weekend, this application comes with an additional strumming mechanism that will feature in only for the iPhone 4.

On the other hand Farmville which is based solely on Flash-based platform, just for the iPhone 4 platform it has created an application which is not based on Flash technology and will be sold through the app store at the end of June which will coincide with the one-year anniversary of the release of the original game.

Apart from giving an interesting gameplay the application will allow users to make in-app purchases and comes with a feature to sync game results with their Facebook profiles. In addition to this one can maintain their user lists via this application.

Mark Pincus, Zynga CEO whilst the launch stated: "Farmville is our most popular game and we're excited to bring it to the most popular gaming platform in the world."
