Guards grilled in Andheri murders
Andheri police are questioning employees of a security agency regarding the murder of the elderly couple in Andheri (east) on Thursday. The prime accused, Amit, who is suspected to have killed Charan Kundnani, 79 and his wife Kamla 68, was employed by BSS security agency. Two other employees of the agency are also suspected to be involved in the crime.
"Amit is employed with BSS security agency. The other two, identified as Golu and Sikander, are also employees of the same agency," said senior inspector Pradeep Suryavanshi of Andheri police station.
The murder took place on the first floor flat of the Kundnanis at Nityanand society, which is just a little distance away from Andheri police station. The bodies of the deceased were found around 4 pm by their maidservant. "Amit used to take care of the couple and massaged the old man. He was paid for Rs50 per day. We are questioning other employees of the security agency," said Suryavanshi.
