The anticipation of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) fans mounted recently when Rockstar Games revealed in an announcement that the popular title's fifth installation - Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) - will be launched on September 17, 2013.

The announcement of September release of GTA 5 and the recently-released screenshots and trailer of the game has come as welcome news for GTA aficionados who have been eagerly awaiting the launch of the latest installment which was initially scheduled to release in spring 2013, but a delay was announced by Rockstar Games.

With the release date of GTA 5 now having been announced, it is being speculated that the title will sell out quite fast once it is released; so the game's die-hard fans should pre-order their copy.

Meanwhile, going by the screenshots and trailers of GTA 5, the game boasts much improved graphics as compared to its predecessors; and also features a notably enhanced game play which gives the gamers the opportunity to play in "crews" similar to that of Max Payne 3.

GTA 5 follows three key characters - a family man, Michael, who lives in the post Vinewood hills; a trained automotive repo man, Franklin; and a complete psychopath, Trevor - who get allured to the Los Santos' criminal underworld in an attempt to make some quick and illegal cash.
