Google Strive For Creating Fast Lane For Contents
The U.S. based web search giant Google has reportedly approached the internet carriers to create a fast lane for its content, retracting from its earlier stance on equal network access for all content providers.
It has been learnt however, that since the companies violate the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines on network neutrality, they are reluctant to comply with the search engine's deal. A very well known newspaper reported, “While the cable and telecom companies are supposed to maintain neutrality in treating internet traffic, the offer made by Google's proposal, called OpenEdge would place Google servers directly within the network of the service providers.”
“Other companies can strike similar deals like OpenEdge to speed up their service,” informed Google.
