Google releases new tool for optimising websites for mobile phones
Internet giant, Google has released its new service, called Google Sites Mobile Landing Page allowing businesses to easily optimize their websites for the mobile users.
Using the tool with Google Sites, the users will be able to suit their websites for mobile phones very quickly. The new tool comes after the company released mobile sites last week. The users will be able to choose from pre-formatted templates for pages like landing pages, social interaction, lead generation and eCommerce.
Google has also released a new video to highlight the new feature to the businesses. Google claims that the new tool will make it very easy to set up a mobile site. Users will simply have to select a template, choose a color, scheme and a URL and follow up by using Google Sites editor to make changes.
Google said that with the new Google Sites Mobile Landing Page, “anyone…create a mobile site in minutes, not days” as it doesn’t require users to have “any coding experience”.
The company has emphasized the benefits of having a mobile-friendly site. It says that the mobile sites will be essential for small business that does not have a large mobile presence but aim to offer basic information on the mobile site.
