Berlin - Germany sharply condemned on Wednesday the car-bomb attack that killed at least 16 people in Yemen.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Jens Ploetner said in Berlin the attack must be investigated and the perpetrators punished.

The ministry tightened its travel advisory for Yemen, advising Germans to be especially cautious while visiting the country. (dpa)
