Kolkata, Feb 10 : A major fire broke out in an oil mill in Kolkata this morning.

The fire broke out in the shed housing the warehouse and office of the mustard oil mill located at Posta Bazaar, one of the most congested areas of the city.

Fire brigade officials said that it took more than four hours to control the raging fire.

"We are trying our best to save the adjacent building and property. We also rescued two persons from the top floor of the building," said Bibhas Guha, Divisional Fire Officer, Kolkata.

The Mumbai’s King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital is struggling to deal with emergency services after resident doctors went on a strike.

The resident doctors are calling for the arrest of 25 people following an alleged assault on five of their colleagues by relatives of a patient on Monday night.

The patient, who was undergoing treatment in the Central Mumbai hospital for the last 15 days, died in the hospital and the body was not handed over to the relatives.

London, February 10: A septuagenarian roller skater in England has been charged with being a danger to the public, after he was accused of skating in a restricted area.

Geoff Dornan, 71, who appeared before North Sefton magistrates' court in Merseyside, will now have to prove that he is not a hazard to pedestrians where he skates in the seaside town of Southport.
