UEFA accuses Macedonian club of match-fixinNyon, Switzerland - The president of Macedonian club Pobeda as well as a player have been charged for match-fixing, UEFA announced Thursday.

"UEFA has announced today that the Macedonian club FK Pobeda, its president and one player have been charged for being in breach of the principles of integrity and sportsmanship by manipulating the outcome of a UEFA match to gain an undue advantage for themselves and a third party," said European football's ruling body in a statement.

Like so many of his Old Trafford team-mates, Evra has gone away on international duty, but is still baffled by United''s latest results.

Evra is, however, confident United will soon be back to their best.

Fabio brands Roo a loon!London, Mar. 26 : England football team coach Fabio Capello has jokingly branded Wayne Rooney a `crazy man' after the striker's red card in Manchester United's 2-0 defeat at Fulham.

Rooney was dismissed in the dying minutes of the game last Saturday and punched a corner flag in frustration as he headed towards the tunnel.

But, far from being angry at Rooney's behaviour, England boss Capello found it highly amusing, reports The Sun.

Laughing Capello approached Roon in training and said: "You are a crazy man. What are you doing punching a corner flag?"

Bobic appointed chief executive of Chernomorets Stuttgart  - Former Germany striker Fredi Bobic has been appointed chief executive of Bulgaria club Chernomorets Burgas.

Bobic told German Press Agency dpa Wednesday he wanted to help create a modern club with European ambitions over the next few years.

Bobic, 37, who has been working as a television pundit, joins former Stuttgart team-mate Krasimir Balakov, now Chernomorets coach.
