The child actors Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Mohammad Ismail, who appeared in Danny Boyle's multiple Oscar winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, have got another reason to be back in the news.
Both Rubina and Azharuddin have got their second film. But this time it’s a Bollywood movie ‘Kal Kissne Dekha’, which is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani.
Veteran South Indian actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan had insisted the politicians of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka not to mix art with politics.
Kamal was speaking in the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of Kannada Film Industry that was held on Sunday evening in Bangalore.
Speaking in his inaugural speech here on the Sunday evening, Kamal said, “Let us put in efforts to strengthen the relationship between the people of the two states. We are like brothers and let's solve the problems without the intervention of others.”
Finally, India has got its first female Indian Idol in the form of Saurabhee Debbarma, who has broken a jinx of sorts after winning the show.
But the 21-year-old sensation said that she never thought she could win the popular reality show.
She also told that she took part thinking it’d be fine even if she maintained herself into the top 10 list.
An elated Sourabhee said, “I never thought I will be the winner. I always wished that people recognise my voice, but now that I am the winner, I am so very happy.”

London - US popstar Michael Jackson will make a "special announcement" in London this week which is widely expected to focus on the launch of a comeback tour in Britain this summer.
Celena Aponte of London agents The Outside Organization said Jackson would give a news conference at the O2 Arena concert venue in London's docklands Thursday.
