At the 14th annual Critics' Choice Awards 2009, ace Bollywood singer-music composer A R Rahman has been awarded with the Best Music Composer award for Danny Boyle’s movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, which continued its inexorable march as 2008’s standout film.

The event was held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in LA on Thursday (Jan 08).

The relationship between India and Pakistan is not so good after the Mumbai terrorist attack on 26th November, 2008, and that’s why the release of SRK’s ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and Aamir’s ‘Ghajini’ have been banned in Pakistan.

But now ‘Ghajini’ is releasing in Pakistan on Friday.

Mr. Nadeem Mandviwalla, top distributor and exhibitor, stated, “Ghajini has been cleared by the censors and we are anticipating it to be a big hit in Pakistan as it is Aamir's first release in theaters in the country.”

After entertaining viewers with their sizzling chemistry in Dil Chahta hai, bollywood’s Mr. perfectionist Aamir Khan and bubbly Preity Zinta are pairing up again in Yash Chopra’s upcoming flick.  

According to the sources, Yash Chopra has himself penned down the script of the flick. The rumor mills say that the movie, which is yet to get any title, is also going to be a romantic one like all Chopra films.

Recently Aamir Khan said that he has no qualms about working with Shah Rukh, however, King Khan is “scared” to work with him. He also talked about his movies, ambition and the ‘perfectionist, control-freak’ tag that trails him whatever he does.

Aamir said, “I'm not a control freak. I'm realistic about my limits. When I act in a film, it's the director who is the boss. It's not my responsibility to control the film. But I'm always there if the director wants any help or suggestion. I just go with the flow.”

Washington, Jan 8 : It has been revealed that voters for both the Oscars and the SAG awards need not vote for the actors according to the categories the studios have put them in.

The voters can, as per reports, elevate an actor from supporting to lead or send a lead down to supporting, as they see fit.

"It has always (at least in modern history) been the case that it is up to the individual Academy member voter to determine if a performance is lead or supporting," Fox News quoted an Oscar insider as saying.

New Delhi, Jan 8 : While Eminem and 50 Cent have yet not finalised a definite release date for their upcoming albums, new songs from both the rappers have hit radio and web.

Eminem''s "Crack a Bottle," featuring 50 Cent as well and his mentor Dr. Dre, was leaked online on January 6, reports The China Daily.

In fact, an earlier version of the same song minus the guest appearances had already leaked in November.

"It wasn''t close to finished, and it even has me doing guide vocals for Dre as a suggestion of how he could lay his verses down," Eminem told Billboard at the time.
