Gazza stages remarkable fight back from rehab hell London, Feb 13 : England football legend Paul Gascoigne is making stunning recovery after being admitted in the intensive care when his organs packed in just hours after he started tough rehabilitation in the US.

 Gazza's admission in the ICU sparked fears former England hero might not pull through, but according to reports, he has now left intensive care and he has at last begun a treatment programme aimed at beating his booze demons, the Sun reports.

 One of Gazza's friend said he doing really well and he is on the first stage of a long road, the paper added.

Ex-Tottenham Hotspurs, Newcastle United and Lazio ace Gazza now faces months in a 7,500 pound-a-week Arizona drying-out clinic as he fights to beat his drink hell once and for all, the paper said.

Gazza jetted to America last week after pals, led by DJ Chris Evans, stumped up 50,000 pounds for his airfare and treatment at the Cottonwood Clinic near Tucson. (ANI)
