The largest photographic and imaging company of the world – Fujifilm has launched its latest digital camera – FinePix S2000HD – in the Indian market. The FinePix S2000HD is 10 megapixel camera with 15x optical zoom having image stabilization capability.

The FinePix S2000HD is capable of capturing stills at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and videos at 720p (1280 x 720). The camera supports HDTV systems for still images and movies. It allows users to view brilliant HD photos and movies on HDTVs. The camera comes with a widescreen still capture option at 1920 x 1080 resolution. The lens of the camera is capable of extending its coverage from a wide 27.6 mm to 414mm (in 35mm terms). The camera can work at an impressive 13.5fps up to 33 frames in 3MP resolution mode. The camera has high ISO capability of 6400. The camera comes with a remote control and cable.      

The FinePix S2000HD’s mechanically stabilized CCD sensor coupled with high ISO sensitivities, in dual stabilization mode, belittle blurring due to hand-shake and subject movement photos. The camera is capable of capturing wonderful landscapes, interiors, large group shots, and thrilling sports and wildlife action. The camera’s playback mode facilitates fast and easy search of data from the content stored in the camera.    

The FinePix S2000HD features Face Detection technology, which makes it capable of identifying and prioritising up to 10 faces in a frame and adjusting the the focus and exposure accordingly. The camera’s automatic red-eye removal feature helps correcting the red-eye in a picture automatically and instantly. The Zoom Bracketing feature of the camera helps taking three shots at the single press of the button, at different degrees of magnification (original, 1.4x and 2.0 x).

The FinePix S2000HD comes with the Real Photo Technology for capturing realistic images. The camera features High resolution LCD and Electronic Viewfinder, allowing users to frame shots using the high quality electronic viewfinder or the bright 2.7-inch LCD screen at 60 fps. The camera’s dual shot mode helps to capture two photographs in rapid succession – one with the flash and one without – and the camera stores both. It gives users choice to compare and keep the better photograph.

The FinePix S2000HD sports 13 Pre-programmed scene modes allowing one-touch setting for almost any situation. Other features of the FinePix S2000HD include programmed AE, Shutter Priority AE, Manual mode with innumerable metering, and focus options. The camera stores images in JPEG, movies in MPEG4, audio in WAVE and Monaural sound formats. The camera also features 5.7x digital zoom and works at 1/4 sec to 1/1000sec (AUTO mode) or 4 sec to 1/1000 sec (all other modes) shutter speed.

The FinePix S2000HD, measuring 111.0mm (W) ×78.9mm (H) ×75.7mm (D), comes with internal memory of 55MB. The camera is powered by 4xAA battery. The Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD digital camera is available for Rs. 13,999, with three years of warranty, in India.
