London, Oct. 21: Formula One champion Jenson Button has vowed to carry on partying – even though he misses his model girlfriend Jessica Michibata’s ’s birthday today.

Jenson, 29, returned to Britain yesterday, but Michibata is away in Japan on a modelling assignment.

“It’s a great feeling and I’m planning on enjoying it for a few more days. I’m not going to forget about it for a very, very long time. Every morning I wake up until the first race next year I will have a smile on my face,” The Mirror quoted him, as saying.

Button revealed Jessica was not in line for any special treats to mark his famous victory.

He grinned: “I have got her a gift but I’m not going to be able to see her on her birthday, which is a pity. I know it’s her birthday but nothing has changed. She’s certainly not getting a bigger gift just because I’m world champion!” (ANI)
