Five Indian boxers including MC Mary Kom, Chhoto Loura, Kavita Goyat and L Sarita Devi and N Usha have made into the semifinals of their respective weight categories of the third Asian Indoor Games at Vietnam on Sunday.

World Champion MC Mary Kom punched out Chinese Taipei's Ting Lo Yueh 14:9 in the quarterfinal of the 46 kg weight category. Round 1 ended with both Mary and Ting tied at 2:2 but Mary played well in the second round to take 6:2 lead.

Mary enhanced her lead to 9:7 after being publicly warned by Vietnamese referee for hitting her opponent behind the neck. Mary raced away with the bout with the score of 14:9 at the end of fourth round.

Loura thrashed Sri Lanka's Kumari Nilmini 10:2 in the 51 kg category while Goyat defeated Huong Nguyen Thi Thiu of Vietnam 3:2 in the 64 kg category to move into the title round.

Sarita and Usha also won their quarterfinal bouts earlier in the day. The semifinal bout of Mary Kom, Chhoto Loura, L Sarita Devi and N Usha will be played today.
