Facebook gets Chatroulette' app with Steve Shapiro's Chatville
Facebook has come up with a new app which is claimed to be the "clean" version of the infamous webcam chat generator. The Chatville users now will openly identified by their Facebook profiles. It has been created by Digsby.
He was the designer and specialist of Instant Message that combines the most addictive growth elements of Farmville with the unique random chat buzz of Chatroulette.
In this version of Chatville there is the option to chat only with people on your Friends list.
Farmville element comes in when they like your conversation skills so much. The idea being for the best chatters who will be easily identified for which a safer chat environment is created.
11 out of the 18 reviews on Facebook have rated the application a one out of five. There were several complaints as well. Some users have said that they can't able to access the service.
As per the initial features, this app is going to work just as a free IM app. In this app Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and webmail feeds can be entered instantly.
