Epson Rolls Out Two Multifunction Printers In Indian Market
Epson has rolled out two inkjet photo multifunction printers (MFP) - Stylus Photo RX610 and RX 690, in the Indian market for photography enthusiasts.
The newly launched printer models consist of a Micro Piezo print head along with Advanced Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT), which manipulates the printing speed and quality.
Both Stylus Photo RX610 and Stylus Photo RX690 printers are intended for photocopying, printing plus scanning.
The Photo Enhance and Portrait Enhance software attached to both the models enable automatic alterations of normal digital photo errors, and also brighten face transparency to give a more natural look.
Stylus Photo RX 690 has a 2.5 inch LCD screen. It can copy around 40 pages within a minute for both Black and color text. It has double paper trays for a joint paper holding capacity of up to 300 A4 sheets. Users can also scan any image, and print directly without using a PC.
In contrast, the Stylus Photo RX610 printer can print at an amazing speed of up to 37 pages per minute for A4 sized black text documents, and up to 38 ppm for color documents. It has a 2.5-inches LCD screen and two sets of instinctively positioned buttons that facilitate users to access a complete array of routing and printing plus scan and copy functions.
Epson Stylus Photo RX690 is priced at Rs. 14,500, while Epson Stylus Photo RX610 is available at Rs. 12,600 in the Indian market.
