Germany - Borussia Dortmund defender Lee Young-Pyo was given a two-match ban by the German football federation (DFB) disciplinary committee Wednesday for his sending off in Sunday's Bundesliga clash with Energie Cottbus.

Lee saw a red card in the last minute of the 1-1 draw for a foul on Savo Pavicevic and could have faced a longer ban but the DFB took into account that the South Korean had played the ball before coming into contact with his opponent. (dpa)
