The device is capable of offering high wireless range and better speed over standard protocol. It provides highly efficient broadband connectivity, with full secure data transfer over multiple personal computers.

It also supports existing 802.11g wireless devices, making it easy for customers to experience better coverage, without professionally installing the equipment in homes and offices. Its Installation Wizard CD-ROM5 helps the step-by-step installation process of DIR-600, which enables the sharing of high internet connectivity, after the completion of the installation.

It is equipped with latest security enhancement mechanism to restrict unauthorized use of wireless network or internet. The router supports WPA and WPA2 for better encryption, irrespective of type of devices used in the network.

DIR-600 also supports dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT), ensuring safety from prospective threats across the Internet. It is equipped with Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) wizard for enhanced security functions. DIR-600 is priced at Rs 2700, with three year extended warranty.
