Delhi Congress Legislature Party to elect its new leader today
New Delhi, Dec 10 : The Delhi Congress Legislature Party (CLP) will meet here today to elect its new leader.
According to party sources, all 42 Congress legislators are expected to attend the meet which is scheduled to he held at the Delhi Congress office.
The meeting will be chaired by Congress General Secretary Mohsina Kidwai and Union Minister of State for Finance P. K. Bansal.
The Congress won 42 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly while the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had to be content with 23 seats.
Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is leading the party to a third consecutive victory in the national capital. (ANI)
