Daredevil feat achieved, gamer plays for 2205 hours, beats an unbeatable gameIn the Californian region, a 56 years old gamer, with his sheer dedication has won the popular game "Bejewelled 2".

According to the creators of the game this task was unachievable so far. The company claimed it as an uphill task for any person to finish it.

Mike Leyde, however, after playing Bejewelled for over 2205 hours (equivalent of playing the game for eight hours a day, 5 days a week for an entire year) accumulated a score of 4,872,229 gems to "beat" it.

It is considered to be the maximum score ever achieved in the game. Mike did it in a span of three years.

The co-creator of Bejewelled, Brian Fiete with a surprise explained the procedure of accumulating the maximum points. Mike in the process of game play had already accumulated maximum score in the gem match, the additional 2,200 points put his score above the maximum 'calculable' score, and similar to any other arcade game, it caused his score to turn around to a negative number.

But the original game's code wasn't designed to display a negative number so it just showed a blank where the score should be thus, making Mike the conqueror of Bejewelled 2.

As the sources reveal Mike is a player who doesn't like "hard core" games much. Unlike other gamers who sincerely put in effort are astounded by this feat.
