Melbourne, Dec 28 : Cricket star Damien Martyn has split from his wife, Annika, after she reportedly discovered text messages linking him to another woman in India.

The Herald Sun has learnt that the Martyn, 37, began an affair with the woman while playing in the Indian Cricket League last month.

Ms Martyn's close pal has alleged that the former star admitted to an affair after he was confronted by his wife.

Annika confirmed the split, but refused to comment further. (ANI)
