stock marketsWeak global cues pushed Indian market into red. Major selling pressure was seen over OIL-GAS, METALS and IT STOCKS. SENSEX closed at 17380, down 310 points and Nifty at 5215, down 92 points from the previous close. CNX MIDCAP index was down 1.24% and BSE SMALLCAP index was down 2.05%. The market breadth was negative with advances at 201 against declines of 1085 on the NSE. Top gainers included SUNPHARMA, SBIN, ACC, HUL, NTPC, IDFC, ABB and RNRL. Top losers are listed as JAIPRA, RIL, TATASTEEL, DLF, TATAMOTORS, SAIL, UNITECH and GMRINFRA

Next Day Trading Session:

In the next session 5280 may act as a strong resistance level in NIFTY. 5125 and 5160 may act as good support levels. Traders are suggested to sell at gains as long as NIFTY trades below 5280. If NIFTY crossed 5280 with volumes it may again test 5333-5342 levels. CAPITAL GOODS stocks may attract buying in the next session.

2. Audio Rights for four of its movies, namely "Raajneeti", "I Hate Luv Storys", "Guzaarish" and "Tees Maar Khan", These pre sales are in keeping with UTV's clearly articulated strategy of derisking its investment through pre sales up to the extent of 50% of the cost of production of its movies.

UTV plans to release 10-12 movies in this financial year - and the objective is to follow this pre sell / sell strategy for the other 8-10 movies too.
