Connolly Wants To Direct ‘Entourage’In recent Hollywood news, `Entourage' the comedy-drama series, produced by actor Mark Wahlberg, will end. The show was started on July 18, 2004 and it would stop after its eighth season airs in 2011.

There are plans in the pipeline for a big screen spin-off of the show that would feature the original cast, including actor Kevin Connolly.

The actor, who enacted the role of Eric Murphy, has directed one episode of the show already. He seems to have had a fantastic experience directing it.

The actor says that he wants to be considered as a director for Entourage and that he is open for any such offers.

The transition of the mega popular TV series `Sex and the City' that hit the movie theaters later has been the catalyst in the development of Entourage's evolution to the big screen.

Connolly further says that it delighted him when the Sex and the City movie came out; since it opened up the doors of possibility for Entourage too.
