Most e-mail programs have a Deleted Items folder into which e-mail deleted in that manner is sent. To truly remove the e-mail from your e-mail program, visit the Deleted Items folder and clear the contents. In Outlook, you can permanently remove a message by holding down the Shift key and tapping the Delete key.

Without the BIOS, your operating system would not know what hardware you have installed in your PC. The BIOS software, like any software, gets updated from time to time.
