Barcelona - A British Airways plane made an emergency landing in Barcelona Sunday after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit.
Once on the ground, the passengers used emergency chutes to get out of the plane, a Boeing B-757. No one was hurt, Spanish authorities said.
The airport went into emergency mode after the plane's crew reported smoke developing in the cockpit during the plane's approach on a scheduled flight from London to the Catalan capital.
British Airways said the incident was being investigated. (dpa)
