A CII National Council meet has started. It will be attended by seventy CEOs from various leading firms, in order to talk about matters relating to FDI and infrastructure and the role of the private sector in helping in the progress of the Naxal-affected areas.

In the meet, the CEOs of the various industries will discuss issues regarding economic growth and methods how to raise it to over 10 per cent in a short duration of time.

The CII National council has member strength of around a hundred and these members will talk about how to achieve their targets of high rate of growth, sustainable growth, and the how to do away with the problem of unemployment in such a critical financial situation.

Besides, they will also discuss about how to implement goods and services, and also regarding the duties and liabilities of the individual directors.

Besides all this, another issue that would be dealt with by the council at the meet is chiefly infrastructure of ports and roads, in addition to the issue of power.
