CII Business Index Declines by 8.9 Points
According to reports, the Confederation of Indian Industry, basically known as the CII’s periodical Business Outlook review findings certainly demonstrated that following the second quarter results, the Company’s Business Confidence index was recorded with a turn down of 8.9 points.
However, the report also showed that in comparison with the preceding quarter result that was recorded with a fall of 4.2 points, the current fall was supposed to be the highest.
Moreover, the official survey was conducted in the month of August and after the analysis, the reviews were made public.
In order to give a clear picture about the study findings, the Company officials further accounted that the survey process was particularly based on a trial dimension of 250 business firms, and after the analyses, they were shocked to see that about 29% of the participants strongly believed that the GDP growth rate would get several restorations.
On the other hand, while sharing his views about these officials’ statements, CII’s Director General, Chandrajit Banerjee said, "Bulk of the respondents (55.6 percent) expect average inflation to be above 8 percent in 2011-12, while a mere 9.9 percent expect it to be in the range of 6-7 percent”.
