The exercise and eating schedules for your pets should be very normal. Giedt warns that there are several problems pets can face during the season and therefore, there is high need to monitor them.
The Christmas tree, which is one of the most important attractions of the Christmas Eve, could also be dangerous for your pet. Apart from the obvious hazard of tree falling or getting turned over by a pet, the water beneath a Christmas tree in the pot can contain harmful fertilizers or other chemicals that may sicken your pet if ingested.
The stagnant water might also contain bacteria that may cause nausea or diarrhea if a pet drinks it. Strings of electrical cords appear very attractive to dogs and therefore they should be placed in areas that are hard for a pet to access.
Lighted candles pose their own set of dangers to pets. Burning candles can be dangerous to pets that are fond of investigating in the entire house. The possibility of a candle being knocked over by your pet can increase risk of putting the house on fire.
