China Banishes Canadian Poultry Imports
Beijing: A recent report has showed that China has banished Canadian poultry imports after the bird flu detection on a farm in west Canada.
The report also said that the prohibition covers up all poultry and related products. It also orders the return or annihilation of poultry products imported after September 23.
All Canadian poultry products, which must move across China en route to other nations also, must be banned.
Last week, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said that it had isolated a poultry farm after finding out the H7N3 strain of bird flu that is not fatal to human beings.
The H5N1 strain flowing in Asia, Africa and Europe has killed approximately 200 people.
