New Delhi, Dec 10 - Chief Justice of India K. G. Balakrishnan was stable and under observation in a city hospital here, a hospital official said Thursday, a day after he had been admitted with a stomach ailment.

He was admitted to the Apollo Hospital Wednesday with diarrhoea and vomiting.

Balakrishnan, 64, is the 37th chief justice of India. (IANS)
