Chatting on Facebook raises Privacy issues
Facebook had disabled its 'chat' option as it caused an unnecessary fluke in its privacy terms.
The online social networking site has gathered a huge figure of 400 million users around the world and this seems to rise by each minute. The chatting ability found in Facebook was shut down in lieu of the concerns that admitted to view other friends' live chats and pending friend requests.
This flaw caught attention by the technology blog TechCrunch. This was brought in to limelight by Blogger Steve O'Hear who confirmed of the glitch and was able to use the "Preview my Profile" function to see his friends' private chats and requests.
He went further to include a YouTube video to show the procedure of achieving the task.
It was this blog of O'Hear that raised an alarm and thus, Facebook reported to the problem withdrawing off its live chat function temporarily.
It was further reported that the functioning of the same has been reported well and things are going on a smoother path.
