Bush is less popular than Nixon in final days
Washington, Nov. 11 : U. S. President George W. Bush has become less popular than President Richard Milhouse Nixon was at the time of his resignation in 1974.
According to data released by CNN and Opinion Research Corporation, Bush enjoys an approval rating of just 24 percent and a disapproval rating of 76 percent.
Nixon, on the other hand, had a disapproval rating of 66 percent in August 1974, while Bill Clinton had a disapproval rating of 54 percent in September 1994.
The president with the least disapproval rating was John Fitzgerald Kennedy at 30 percent, followed by Dwight Eisenhower with 36 percent and Gerald Ford at 46 percent.
CNN released a chart showing presidential "disapproval" ratings in CNN or Gallup polls for each president dating back to Harry Truman. (ANI)
