Brave Girl Jaline Salinas loses the battle to cancer

According to reports, Jaline Salinas, the little girl who touched heart of many people across the world, passed away on Sunday. Jaline was battling with terminal brain cancer. While talking to Eyewitness News, Jaline's family confirmed that the little brave girl passed away at around 7:45 pm on Sunday. After the news, Facebook page named 'Jalene's Journey' started to fill with messages of support.

Last April, Jalene was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. She had many rounds of chemo and surgery, but that didn't work for the girl as the tumors eventually came back. Earlier this year, doctors treating Jalene said that there was little else left that they could have done. After that, her family started to work through Jalene's bucket list.

According to the reports, the family helped make a lifetime of memories come true. The family also had meeting with the Spurs' Tim Duncan. They also checked every item of Jalene's bucket list with the expectation of dancing with American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift to her hit song 'Shake It Off'.

It was final wish of Jalene's bucket list. The last wish went viral on micro-blogging website Twitter through #ShakeItOffJalene tag. When the wish became viral, many people across the country came in support of Jalene. When the #ShakeItOffJalene tag became a trend on Twitter, the 'Shake It Off' star video chatted with Jalene and her family. It also completed Jalene's last wish.

The 4-year-old's health started to decline over the past few days. She was also not able to attend the benefits that were held in her honor. On Friday, she had to attend benefit fashion show, but due to her refusal, she couldn't attend.

On Monday, Jalene's family and friends gathered to say final goodbye to little brave girl.
