Bosnian Serb Premier receives threats

Prime Minister Milorad DodikSarajevo/Banja Luka - Bosnian Serb police launched an investigation following an e-mail message with life threats against Prime Minister Milorad Dodik, media reported Thursday.

"Dodik will not live much longer, so there will be no Srpska Republic," read the message, referring to the Bosnian Serb entity, as quoted by media.

The reports said message was sent to Radmilo Sipovac, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Banja Luka's daily Fokus.

According to reports the message was sent from a computer in Denmark and an e-mail address belonging to a Bosnian Muslim.

Milorad Dodik runs the government of the Srpska Republic as well as the entity's strongest party, the Party of Independent Social-Democrats (SNSD), which supports strong Srpska's autonomy within Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Bosnia-Herzegovina has been administratively divided into two ethnic entities, the Srpska Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation, as the result of the Dayton Peace Agreement that stopped the country's 1992-95 war. (dpa)
