Blue Star picks AC contract worth Rs 66 crore for 11 airports
Blue Star has informed that the company has secured air-conditioning contracts worth Rs 66 crore for 11 airports.
These include airports at Varanasi, Jaipur, Trivandrum, Mangalore, Dehradun, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Madurai, Khajuraho and Pune.
Blue Star is India's largest central airconditioning and commercial refrigeration company with an annual turnover of Rs 2270 crores, a network of 24 offices, 5 modern manufacturing facilities, 650 dealers and around 2500 employees.
Last month, company has reported a net profit of Rs 70.36 crore in Jan-Mar 2008 against Rs 34 crore in Jan-Mar 2007. Net sales increased to Rs 708.14 crore against Rs 542.91 crore.
