The Texas-based ice cream company Blue Bell Creameries has announced that after being away from markets for eight months, its products will be back in the Louisiana markets on December 21 2015. The company had withdrawn all its ice creams from the market in April 2015 after the incidents of contamination were reported.

The company received 10 complaints of listeria in four states, inclusive of death of three people in a Kansas hospital. Following the reports and recall of its products, the production processes of the company have been enhanced. The company is focusing extremely on the hygiene and cleaning aspects of production. Furthermore, an independent microbiology expert has been appointed for the supervision of the company's activities.

Blue Bell Creameries is announcing comeback in several markets including Jackson markets in Mississippi on Monday. The flavors which are likely to be available on the grocery stores from Monday in Louisiana are Buttered Pecan, Cookies 'n Cream, Dutch Chocolate, Homemade Vanilla, the Great Divide, Pistachio Almond and Peppermint.

The return of these ice creams has come like an early treat for the customers of Blue Bell Creameries. "I mean it's the best ice cream ever. We've been waiting and waiting and waiting. Texas had it way before we did and we were still anticipating and I don't eat any other ice cream but that one. It's the best," said Monica Edwards. Many customers, like Madison Guidry, believe that Blue Bell cannot be matched with any other brand of ice cream. Its return was long awaited and now people can’t wait for Monday to eat their favorite ice creams.
