Blaze in London tower block sparked by fault in old TV set London - A fire in a London tower block which killed six people - including three children - earlier this month was caused by an electrical fault in an old television set, police said Wednesday.

An inquiry was launched after a huge blaze swept through the high-rise complex in Camberwell, south London, on July 3.

Police said a television which was at least 10 years old caught fire after being left plugged in on the ninth floor.

A three-week-old baby and two children aged three and six were among the victims of the blaze which spread rapidly through the 12-storey building, dating from the
