BlackBerry Bold 9900 to hit the UK market on August 16
RIM’s new BlackBerry Bold 9900, which was unveiled last week, is set to be launched in the UK market on August 16.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and runs the new BlackBerry OS 7 operating system. It features a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, AF, flash and a zero shutter lag.
The Bold 9900 features a 3.7-inch WVGA, which is the largest screen available on a BlackBerry yet. It has 768MB RAM and 4GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded to 36GB via microSD.
The handset is available for pre-order through Vodafone. The telecom operator is offering the smartphone for free on a £41 per month two-year contract to the customers in the UK. The deal includes 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of inclusive data allowance per month.
