Biometric Tattoo may be next big thing in Fitness tracking market

Generally, people turn to smartwatch or a fitness band when it comes to tracking their health like how many steps taken in a day, number of calories burnt and heart rate among other things. But soon, biometric tattoo is going to take the place of such gadgets.

Chaotic Moon Studios has been working on temporary tattoos that are a mix of sensors and conductive paint. These tattoos will be equipped to track everything about the wearer even their location. This aspect can prove useful to make remote checkups if possible with doctors.

The tattoo’s usage is not limited to health field. It has potential uses for banking and military application. Chaotic Moon’s CEO Ben Lamm said, “We think there are military applications for it, health applications for it, and there are all kinds of opportunities around it. It’s a platform that basically turns you into a human circuit board”.

The gadget has been named as Tech Tat. A promotional video of the same suggests about the uses of the tattoo. Lamm said that the Tech Tat is a working prototype. They are busy in developing the device both conceptually and physically.

Except this, the company was also involved in coming up with new applications. It was also behind flying taster drone. Though the company has mentioned about commercializing the drones, but things still need to be worked out on this aspect.
