Bing plans to take on Google
Google's share of the US search market dipped by one per cent in June claims the recent poll done by online search analytics firm Hitwise.
According to the data the percentage of overall searches that were done using Google came down from 72.17 per cent in May to 71.65 per cent by 26 June.
In case of Microsoft's Bing search engine saw a tremendous leap with its market share growing over seven per cent month-on-month which now trails at 9.85 per cent. However this dip is a minor tremor when compared to Google’s hug empire of search, who still continues to dominate the search market. But, if things continue to be this Google might face huge competition from the exceptional growth of Microsoft's Bing.
Yahoo on the other hand has steady percentage at 14.37 per cent, and seemingly the company is laying hands on developing its new advertising network and online content services as it outsources its search function to Bing.
