In a latest development, Big 92.7 FM has made announcement about the appointment of Suresh Iyer as Regional director, South, Big 92.7 FM.

Mr. Iyer replaces Sabita Kath, who quit recently.

Mr. Iyer has been working with Big 92.7 FM for more than a year, and has played an important role in advancing the programming content across south as regional programming consultant.

Iyer said, “With a great product in hand and a talented pool of people to fall back upon, the radio station will continue to grow, coming up with engaging and entertaining programming for listeners.”

With more than 15 years of experience the media industry, Mr. Iyer will be spearheading his new position in BIG 92.7 FM based in Chennai and bear responsibility for the entire functioning of the southern region.

Mr. Suresh Iyer, who is a graduate in commerce and film production, has handled various functions in TV media before joining BIG 92.7 FM.

Iyer has a rich and varied experience in production and broadcasting domains of TV medium having worked previously in UTV, Mumbai and Star TV’s regional channel Star Vijay in Chennai.
