London, Feb 18  David Beckham is reportedly taking French cookery lessons from head chef Éric Frechon at his five-star Le Bristol hotel, in a bid to impress his wife Victoria.

The football legend has told Frechon - awarded three Michelin stars in 2009 - that he is particularly interested to learn about chicken and -seafood dishes, the Mirror reported.

The 37-year-old footie ace is already a keen cook and is hoping to impress his wife Victoria by adding to his repertoire.

A source said that Beckham is loving the French life and wants to immerse himself in it further by learning how to cook their meals.

The source asserted that Beckham loves his food and can't wait to impress Victoria in the kitchen.

"His favourites are chicken and seafood so he is especially keen to learn dishes that include those. It will give him a hobby away from football," he added. (ANI)
