Bangkok-Kolkata flight to resume today
The air connectivity between Kolkata and the Suvarnabhumi International Airport at Bangkok will resume from Friday.
The air service was suspended for a week due to internal disturbances there.
Normal flight from Suvarnabhumi to NSC Bose International Airport would resume from tomorrow afternoon, an airport official said.
There are four daily flights from Kolkata to Bangkok.
The flights were scheduled to resume from today. But it but could not happen due to technical reasons.
However, as a temporary measure, planes from here have been flying to Uthapao airport belonging to the Thai Navy, located 180 km away from from Suvarnabhumi, since December 1.
