Axing Dhoni will put India back by 5 years- Says Dilip Vengsarkar
Former Indian captain and the ex-chief selector of BCCI, Dilip Vengsarkar has said that removing Dhoni now will put India back by five years. He has also said that it's not the proper time to go for such moves. As per Vengsarkar, if ever BCCI goes for such moves it would be nothing but a knee-jerk reaction.
He has said that when team performs everything is all right, but after any major defeat, the media has no clue left to criticize the team. The media always hypes any mistake in massive proportions. He has also reminded that the Indian skipper Dhoni has been the most positive, intelligent and cool cricketers of the current generation.
Moreover, his temperament has been excellent. His on and off the field behavior has been immaculate as well.
Apart from that, he is a key player in all three formats of the game. He is most suitable player for the post in the current time. So he has suggested BCCI to deal the issue carefully.
