Ausenco sees better times in 2010

Ausenco sees better times in 2010Ausenco Ltd. has said that the improving economic condition will help it to increase its growth figures in 2010.

The engineering services provider is hopeful that the improving consumer confidence and rise in commodity demands are a signal of an overall economic recovery. And with this, it would also be able to get its share of growth.

Ausenco is into the consulting, engineering and project management business and had been hurt by what can be called the lost confidence in the economy.

But, things are different now said Zimi Meka, Chief Executive of Ausenco. He further added that the growth can be seen across the group and will be carried over to 2011 as well.

Zimi also informed that many of the earlier deferred project contracts have been returned. And both the order book and the tender activity are touching high levels.

He was confident that the A$18.3 billion pipeline study and design contract, which it has been trying to work upon for long, will also fall into place.

This upkeep believes Wayne Goss, Chairman of Ausenco, has been possible only because the Brisbane-based firm has been able to renew its strategic approach.
