As per the media reports, Chungwa Telecom, the Taiwanese mobile operator will start marketing the Apple iPhone 3G S in August, with the aim to enhance its revenues by vending sata centric devices.

The operators, in the times when Taiwanese mobile market is experiencing saturation in terms of voice market, are shifting their focus onto bundling telecom services with netbook computers or smartphones, in order to serve to consumers' rising demand for easy Internet connection on the go.

In a statement, Lin Jen-hon, a vice president at Chunghwa Telecom, said: "We have found that our iPhone users tend to download more content from the Internet than users of other handsets."
