Augere to invest $60 million over the next three-five on 4G network in IndiaAugere Wireless Broadband India Pvt is planning to invest about 60 million over the next three-five years in 4 G telephone services in Madhya Pradesh service circle in India, according to company executives said Tuesday.

Augere Wireless is the wholly owned unit of Augere Holdings (Netherlands) BV. The unit has paid 1.25 billion rupees for BWA permits in an auction last year. The company won to offer wireless internet services in the Madhya Pradesh service area which includes Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh states.

The company is planning to roll out commercial 4G broadband services initially in 14 cities of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with the brand name, Zoosh, according to Augere Wireless Chief Executive Lars Stork.

"The commercial launch is expected on April 1, next year," he said adding that the rollout of the service will complete the service roll out by early 2013. He also said that it is aiming to turn profitable at the operating level in three years from its launch of service.

Augere Wireless awarded a three-year contract to supply and maintain telecom equipment for its proposed 4G services to L. M. Ericsson Telephone Telephone.
