AT&T sells LG’s Escape 2 at $179.99 without any contract

AT&T has started selling the Escape 2 at $179.99 with no contract. LG came up with the phone after the mid-range Escape smartphone. The smartphone has a 4.7-inch curved display, which resembles the G Flex and Flex 2 smartphones, also released by LG. Its screen has a 1,280x720 pixel resolution.

The handset is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1.2GHz. The smartphone comes with 1GB of RAM with internal storage of 8GB; it is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop, introduced recently. It has an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1MP front-facing camera.

The phone has many features that will help users take quick pictures on their smartphone. One feature lets users to tap on the subject on the device's display to take the image; it helps the smartphone's camera software make adjustments to feature the subject, which is selected. Those who love taking selfies, another feature is for them; a three-second countdown could be initiated for taking a selfie by raising hand and after that making a fist in front of the Escape 2's front camera.

AT&T also has Escape 2 available for sale for only 99 cents if the customer purchases it with a two-year service contract with the carrier. AT&T also has offer of the Next payment plan, under which customers are allowed to receive the Escape 2 for no down payment; however with a monthly payment of $9 for 20 months under AT&T Next 12, a monthly payment of $7.50 for 24 months under AT&T Next 18 or a monthly payment of $6 for 30 months, when it comes to AT&T Next 24.
