Aricent Appoints Sudip Nandy As CEO
Mr. Sudip Nandy is appointed as the new CEO of Communication software firm Aricent on Tuesday. Mr Nandy was earlier serving in telecom, media and technology business of Wipro for about 25 years and also headed European operations of Wipro. The Economic Times had earlier reported about joining of Nandy as CEO of Aricent. Aricent’s former CEO, Ash Bhardwaj left the company to start his new business.
Nandy would be included in the board of directors of Aricent after his joining.
Mr. Nandy said that he is appreciative of products and services of the company. He would do his best to contribute in the innovation and technological expertise of the company.
He is known as chief strategy officer for mergers and acquisitions. He also contributed in closing the $600-million buyout of US-based Info crossing. It was the largest ever tech acquisition by an Indian company. He completed nine M&As in two years of 2006 and 2007.
