Washington, Jan 29 : Apple has reportedly won patent for a MacBook that would be powered with solar cells .

The patent called " Electronic device display module" describes a method to power laptops through solar light.

Apple's display module describes two sided displays for the lid of a portable computer, the PC World reported.

While the front of the lid facing the user would still sport the typical display screen, the rear plate, made of " electrochromic glass" would serve more than just a cover. (ANI)
